The Legends of Extreme

Thor Hesselberg

Most prolific Celtman. Creator and Race Director of ThorXtri and Rockman SwimRun. Also runs the Celtman Forum.

Thor has been a massive help to Global since the start as we established the Forum, showing Dave how fantastic the independent races were and recommending setting up an Advisory Group.

Chris Stirling (1982-2019)

Chris was a true inspiration in this sport, and sorely missed, being respected and admired for his humility & kindness, alongside his many achievements.

He won Braveheart, Celtman, CanadaMan, The Brutal (course record) and also took 8th at Norseman, the race that inspired him to take up this sport.

His legacy lives on through Celtman's Chris Stirling award which recognised those encapsulating his spirit at the event.

Heiko Sepp

Highly accomplished in our races (1st at Evergreen, 2nd at Alaskaman, 3rd at Celtman), a bloody hard worker, and well liked by all.

He's also going on our 'Legends' list as much for his courage these last few years, fighting significant auto-immune issues following Covid vaccinations.

More Legends coming soon, purposefully in no set order.
